On 9 December 2024, the South-East Europe Programme of the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) have organised a public event titled: “The 2004 EU Enlargement and the Future of Europe.”

The event was organized in the framework of the project “(Re)uniting the East and West: Reflections on the 2004 EU enlargement (REWEU)”, and took take place on Monday 9 December at 9:00-13:00 at the European Parliament offices in Athens, 8 Vas. Amalias Avenue, Athens, 105 57 (entrance from 2 Xenofontos Str.).

Keynote Speaker:

George A. Papandreou, Former Prime Minister;  General Rapporteur on Democracy, Council of Europe 

The event was held in Greek.
